Mansi Saxena
Founder, Creative Director, Sutradhaar.

Mansi Saxena's work has spanned consulting, luxury, brand building, and storytelling. Over nearly two decades, across India, Australia, and the Middle East, through McKinsey, Sotheby's International Realty, Lodha Luxury, Caprese, she built and scaled brands, shaped perception, and made long-term decisions around value.

That exposure brought deep familiarity with European luxury systems. It also made clear how rarely India appeared within them, despite its civilisational depth.

She returned to India deliberately. To understand why knowledge systems that have existed here for centuries had never been translated into global luxury.

What followed was over 10,000 kilometres of travel across metal and making communities. Sustained time inside workshops and craft ecosystems. What became evident was a structural gap between making and brand building.

Alongside this, she studied ancient Indian texts on geometry, proportion, metallurgy, order. Practical frameworks that felt unexpectedly aligned with how enduring institutions are built.

Kāli emerged from this convergence. A contemporary luxury house where Indian craftsmanship operates as intellectual foundation. Where heritage is inhabited.

Kāli operates outside seasonal cycles and market urgency. It favours restraint, depth, singularity. Decisions are guided by proportion, equilibrium, longevity.

For Mansi, Kāli is a position. One that asserts Indian craftsmanship as a contemporary force, capable of shaping luxury on its own terms.

Her role is that of sutradhaar: the one who holds the thread between knowledge, making, and meaning.
